In spring of 2011, Think.Play began as a small group a friends who met twice a month to play and discuss video games. Today, Think.Play is a campus-wide organization of faculty, staff, students, and community members at the University of Oregon.
The goal of Think.Play is to facilitate dialogue and critical engagement with video games as a medium. We run open play sessions, host guest speakers from within the academic and professional communities, publicize relevant events on campus and in the local community, and provide a place for students, scholars, and professionals across disciplines to share information.
